God's Will

My friend in on life support for 35 days now. She has two teenage daughters and an adoring husband. The doctors are her friends and are hesitant to check how she is medically doing. Today they did an EEG as the first step to ascertaining if she is brain dead or otherwise. Her husband asked us to pray while the EEG was being recorded. I began to wonder.......
If they do find her brain dead, what is the road ahead? If a decision needs tobe taken on whether she continues on life support of not, who takes that decision? Does any human have a right to decide to switch off life support? Does any religion/faith do right by prolonging the trauma for the family by not taking this decision? Worse still who tells the children about this? They have been praying with certaining that they will hear their mama's voice in their kitchen coz God is a good and mighty God. Do they have a say in this decision?
Questions with no definite answer for we are a finite people. The vast unknown is so hugely vaster than the perceptibly vast known. when the chips are down is medical diagnosis a presumption that because B followed A 25 times it has to happen the 26th time?
I think we need to let God be God. He is wise enough, loving enough, gracious enough and potent enough to put all things right. He alone is the giver of life. he alone is the sustainer of life. he alone opens the doors of death. He directs the paths of rivers and the thoughts of grieving confused minds. He heals, strenghthens, clarifies, calms, upholds, enfolds, unifies. He is Sovereign. Maybe we need to trust himnot just for the patient but for her family, friends and church! He cares more than we ever can! He will do the best better than we can conceive.
He can heal her on life support. He can lead her through the gates of death from the life support. He alone must decide what is good for her and for all her loved ones. for He is the all wise God, the almighty God, the all time God and the on time God.
